Stephen Sheridan Wedding Photographer » Wedding photographer, Dublin, Ireland

I had the absolute pleasure of spending Halloween this year photographing Claire and Shanes wild wedding at the Clanard Court Hotel in Athy. It was a fancy dress bash and everyone really went to town. These folks really know how to party! We got some amazing photographs on the day and kept going well into the night but the day after we went and got some more! We popped down the road to a little stone cottage in the woods to take some super spooky pictures. In spite of the woeful weather I think we got some truly unique images and had some great craic on the way.

I really had a ball, thanks again guys:)

  • Carol wright - We were so lucky to have Stephen photograph our daughter’s wedding.
These are just a snapshot of the wonderful pictures he took.
I am the most photo phobic person going but with Stephen it was easy to
feel comfortable and not camera shy.
Thank you Stephen for capturing our wonderful memories and we can never recommend
    you enough!

Here’s a quick sneaky peek at some photographs I took at Blánaid and Graemes wedding. The ceremony was in my favorite spot, Clara Vale Church and the reception was in the beautiful Ballybeg House. Blánaid and Graeme put a huge amount of work into this and it shows, all the little details came together to create a really beautiful and unique wedding. Congratulations you two:)

We had so much fun on their engagement shoot, I was really looking forward to Wendy and Davids wedding. When the big day came around the weather behaved brilliantly, it rained whenever we were indoors and once we stepped outside, the sun came out too. Cabra Castle as per usual was great, both the venue and the staff are really wonderful.

The blog has been quiet lately as I’ve been very busy getting ready for my own honeymoon. Myself and Alicen decided we wanted a honeymoon with a difference. After about a year searching we decided to head away to Africa for a month with a group called Camara.
Camara take old computers that are being thrown out and they refurbish them, ship them to Africa and install them in schools. We are part of a team of 18 people heading to Lesotho to teach the teachers not just how to use the computers but also how to maintain and repair them, teach a man to fish etc. Camara are sending teams out to 7 countries this year which in itself is quite a feat considering the charity is only up and running 4 years.
After our month in Lesotho we are taking a holiday touring South Africa and Namibia:)we’ll be back in September.
In the meantime I hope to get to a computer once a week or so to keep you all updated.
You can find more information about Camara here and before I go I’ll leave you with an image that will haunt you, it’s me in a wedding dress at the Flora Mini Marathon fundraising for Camara:)

I hooked up with Wendy and David for an engagement shoot with a twist. We started off on the beach in Bettystown and then had some fun in Funtasia. Guys it was great to shoot your engagement session and I can’t wait for the wedding.

“You talkin’ to me?”

Yes it IS a neon palm tree!

Here’s some photographs from Vanessa and Steve’s wedding. They had their reception in Baulieu House near Drogheda. Beaulieu House really is a unique venue and a great spot for a unique wedding. I had an absolute ball photographing your wedding, congratulations you two.

Steve’s mum made these scones and with a bit of jam and a dollop of cream they were absolutely delicious, made with love.

And my personal favourite from the day.

The manager of Beaulieu house told me that the gardens look much better in the summer, seriously!
